Job Summary

This is an opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to drive the development and integration of complex ground station systems within the space and defense technology sectors in Bremen. The core responsibility involves developing the system architecture, defining technical interfaces between subsystems, and ensuring seamless communication with satellites, all based on customer requirements. You will coordinate the development of both hardware and software specifications in collaboration with internal and external partners, manage supplier development, and oversee the entire system integration and testing process through to customer delivery. This challenging role requires a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, proven experience working with complex electrical systems, particularly sensor data fusion, and the ability to balance abstract conceptual thinking with hands-on component work. The position offers a high degree of autonomy within a small team and a hybrid work model.
