Job Summary

This role involves designing and integrating advanced antennas for radio communication systems within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) framework, specifically focusing on integration into airborne platforms. Day-to-day tasks include designing, optimizing, and testing antennas and associated high-frequency (HF) frontends, guiding the process from preliminary development through to series production readiness. The successful candidate will conduct feasibility studies, evaluate technical concepts for performance and system compatibility, and actively support platform integration and system-level verification. Key qualifications include a degree (ideally Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or High-Frequency Technology, coupled with significant professional experience in antenna development and integration. Expertise in HF modeling and simulation tools like CST Microwave Studio and AWR Microwave Office is essential, along with proficiency in HF measurement techniques.
