Job Summary

This role seeks an Academic Staff Member to significantly contribute to Digital Humanities research projects at Heidelberg University Library, a leading center for university information supply. The primary focus involves developing innovative software solutions, particularly for digital editions and visual data presentation, and expanding the existing research data management infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with researchers, notably from the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, to conceptualize digital methodologies and formulate research questions. Key qualifications include an IT-related Master’s degree (e.g., Computer Science or Digital Humanities), strong proficiency in web development, AI concepts, and multiple programming languages (such as Java, JavaScript, and Python).
