Job Summary

This is a crucial opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the energy transition movement by focusing on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems, which are essential for the loss-reduced transport of renewably generated electricity, such as from offshore wind farms. The core mission involves working within a dedicated team responsible for the project execution of HVDC substations/converter stations. Daily tasks include supporting the technical design and standardization of critical high-voltage components within international HVDC and Grid-Access projects. The engineer will assume technical responsibility for these components throughout the project lifecycle, strictly adhering to quality, cost, and schedule targets. Furthermore, the role requires participation in bidding phases, including the preparation of detailed and well-founded cost calculations.
