Job Summary

This Field Service Engineer position, based in Cologne Rodenkirchen, focuses on hardware lifecycle management for clients, primarily in the banking and savings bank sectors across the Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Essen regions. The role is critical for ensuring the high availability and quality of IT services. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting IT rollout projects, performing IMAC/R (Install, Move, Add, Change/Remove) activities, and handling the installation, relocation, and removal of hardware. The engineer will also conduct remote and on-site troubleshooting, technical maintenance, and regular system updates for both hardware and software. Candidates should ideally have an IT technical background or be career changers with relevant professional experience, excellent German communication skills, and a strong service-oriented mindset, coupled with mandatory possession of a Class B driving license and willingness to travel within the service area.
