This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Head of Regional Weather Consulting at the German Weather Service (DWD) in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports and presentations, managing quality management processes, and organizing meetings and events. Key responsibilities also include client support, managing various internal systems (e.g., travel, occupational safety, training), assisting with budget planning and procurement, and handling general office tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Administrative Assistant or a relevant commercial vocational training (e.g., Office Management Assistant) OR successfully completed career training for the mid-level non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in quality management systems and occupational safety management (desirable)
  • Professional experience in document management and general office organization (desirable)
  • Extensive experience with modern IT and workflow systems (e.g., IBA, TMS-Reise, E-Akte, Gisbo) and information/communication services (e.g., SEPEK, Confluence) (desirable)
  • Good experience with MS-Office, especially Excel (desirable)
  • Professional experience in procurement, budget, cash, and accounting (desirable)
