Job Summary

The Bavarian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BayLfV), a major German domestic intelligence service, is seeking two Security Specialists for Technical Counter-Surveillance to join their team near Dachau. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of technical counter-surveillance measures both internally and externally. Day-to-day tasks include drafting detailed inspection reports and expert opinions, managing the procurement and maintenance of necessary technical equipment, and participating in specialized professional committees. Key requirements include a completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, or Information Technology, along with practical experience in measurement technology and basic knowledge of network technology and Windows/Linux system administration. This position offers the opportunity to protect democracy and fundamental rights within a state intelligence service, starting with a contract position (E 10 TV-L) with subsequent transfer to a civil servant status (3rd qualification level).
