Job Summary

The Nuremberg Fire Department is seeking a dedicated Specialist/System Administrator to ensure the functionality, optimization, and continuous development of critical infrastructure, including the Command and Control System, communication systems, and building automation within the Integrated Control Center. This role is essential for maintaining public safety operations, managing approximately 250,000 annual emergency responses. Key responsibilities involve leading or participating in technical IT projects, notably the new Integrated Control Center construction, and rigorously implementing information security measures based on BSI standards and KRITIS requirements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or equivalent experience (such as a Certified IT Specialist) combined with relevant professional experience. The position requires a high degree of responsibility, team capability, negotiation skills, and the willingness to undergo security clearance, offering a stable, meaningful, and challenging career in public service.
