Job Summary

This role involves serving as an IT Systems Engineer focused on optimizing and advancing the network infrastructure within a dynamic hospital setting. The professional will be responsible for planning and managing projects related to the expansion of both passive and active IT network components, ensuring high availability, efficiency, and security, especially concerning networked medical devices. Key daily tasks include developing system maintenance guidelines, guaranteeing system availability and network services through adequate emergency management, and conducting regular monitoring, fault analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with relevant professional experience in planning and operating complex IT network infrastructures (LAN, MAN, WLAN), and familiarity with current network security and monitoring technologies. This is a full-time, permanent position offering fair compensation under the TVöD-K/VKA collective agreement.
