Job Summary

This role involves joining the IT department of an innovative hospital environment to design, implement, and optimize complex network infrastructures. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for the continuous optimization and development of the IT network architecture, focusing on performance, capacity, high availability, and efficiency. Key daily tasks include planning and managing projects for expanding active and passive network infrastructure, developing system maintenance guidelines, and ensuring internal and external network security, especially concerning connected medical devices. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, relevant professional experience in operating and planning IT network infrastructures (LAN, MAN, WLAN), and familiarity with current network security and monitoring technologies. This position offers an attractive, permanent, full-time contract (38.5 hours/week) with fair compensation based on the TVöD-K/VKA collective agreement, providing a stable and engaging environment to shape the digital future of a major clinical institution.
