Job Summary

This role seeks an innovative Technical Physicist, Engineer, or highly qualified Technician specializing in Vacuum and Cryogenics to join an internationally expanding manufacturer of vacuum-superinsulated storage and transport containers. The core responsibilities involve providing technical leadership in critical areas such as thermal insulation, vacuum technology, and helium leak detection, while driving product development. Day-to-day tasks include managing development orders, planning and executing complex test series, creating detailed technical specifications and design documents, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project management, manufacturing, and external partners, and continuously optimize development processes. Key qualifications include a degree in Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, combined with initial to several years of professional experience in R&D or design. Fundamental knowledge of Thermodynamics, heat/mass transfer, CAD, and ERP systems is essential. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Plant Construction; alternatively, State-certified Technician qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience if holding a State-certified Technician qualification
  • Deep knowledge in Thermodynamics and heat/mass transfer
