Job Summary

This is a full-time, temporary role covering IT System Administration for the City of Bad Gandersheim, focusing on the comprehensive maintenance and development of the municipal IT infrastructure. The role involves organizing and administering IT systems, including servers, networks, and operational technology (OT) systems, while strictly ensuring IT security and data protection according to IT-Grundschutz standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing the Helpdesk, providing user support and training, planning hardware and software procurement, and assisting with the implementation of legal requirements like the Online Access Act (OZG). The successful candidate will work within a three-person team and also serve as the Deputy Information Security Officer, requiring strong technical skills in system integration and a service-oriented approach.
