Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position with the City of Bad Gandersheim involves the technical management of civil engineering projects. As a Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of new construction and expansion measures, including creating service specifications, commissioning contractors, and supervising construction execution. Your daily tasks will extend to inspecting roads and bridges, managing public lighting, and implementing flood protection measures. Additionally, you will maintain playgrounds, sports facilities, and cemeteries. A key component of the role is applying procurement law during the bidding and awarding process. This position is ideal for an organized professional who can coordinate effectively with specialists and authorities while maintaining a structured approach under pressure. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Construction Technology (specializing in Civil Engineering) or a Master Craftsman qualification in construction (Bauhandwerksmeister). Candidates graduating in 2026/2027 are also eligible.

Experience

  • Professional experience in civil engineering projects, including construction supervision and billing
  • Experience in applying technical standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Proven experience in public procurement and tendering processes
  • Several years of relevant civil engineering experience required for applicants with a Master Craftsman qualification
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination with architects and public authorities
