Job Summary
This role supports the Ecotoxicology department in Heide, Germany, focusing on critical routine diagnostics and laboratory analysis within the UCL Umwelt Control Labor GmbH, part of the REMONDIS Group. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing analyses according to standard norms, specifically GB21 analysis, and rigorously ensuring quality standards in line with DIN EN ISO 17025. A unique aspect of the job involves the essential maintenance and care of fish and daphnia cultures used in testing. The associate will also actively contribute to optimizing working procedures and laboratory organization. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Biological Laboratory Technician or a B.Sc. in Natural Sciences, ideally bringing initial professional experience in routine diagnostics and knowledge of ecotoxicology. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as a Biological Laboratory Technician or Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Natural Sciences or comparable.
