Job Summary

This role as a Methodology Development Specialist involves supporting the Organic and Inorganic Chemistry teams at UCL Umwelt Control Labor GmbH, a key analytical service provider within the REMONDIS Group. The primary focus is on adapting and expanding existing chemical measurement methods, particularly within the field of organic analysis using advanced chromatographic techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include close collaboration with team leadership to structure development processes, ensuring strict quality standards compliant with DIN EN ISO 17025, and actively maintaining and operating sophisticated analytical devices like GCMS and LC-MS/MS. Candidates must possess a background in natural sciences or chemical lab assistance, coupled with demonstrable practical experience in these specific analytical instruments and a structured approach to work. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Natural Sciences or completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant (Chemielaborant) or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA).

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical analysis of organic substances
  • Practical experience in operating and maintaining GCMS and/or LC-MS/MS devices
  • Experience in supporting the implementation and extension of existing measurement methods
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of chemical measuring devices
