Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a (Junior) System Engineer to contribute to the development of complex Multidomain Directional Communications systems in Berlin. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with operational scenario specialists and AESA antenna developers to specify system and subsystem architectures and designs. The engineer will be crucial in Requirements Management, encompassing the capture, analysis, validation, and tracking of system needs, and comprehensively documenting specifications. Furthermore, the role involves modeling system architectures across various levels and expansion stages, supporting system integration and validation, and working within interdisciplinary teams to implement technical solutions. This position is suitable for career starters and requires a technical degree in fields like Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, coupled with fluency in German and good English skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in fields such as Communications Technology, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering

Experience

  • Experience in Systems Engineering for complex technical systems
  • Suitable for career starters (Berufseinsteiger)
  • Knowledge of common Systems Engineering methods and tools (MBSE, Enterprise Architect, Cameo, Jama)
  • Knowledge of requirements for flight approvals (e.g., DO178) is advantageous
