Job Summary
This role involves taking charge of the planning, organization, and execution of diverse events for a prominent law firm in Cologne. The Event Manager will handle a wide range of activities, from internal and external client events and collaborations to trade fair appearances. Key responsibilities include managing all administrative and organizational tasks, such as invitation and guest management, on-site support, budget planning, and post-event follow-up. The successful candidate will coordinate internal stakeholders and external service providers, while also creating and maintaining event communication for digital channels like the website and newsletters. This position requires a minimum of two years of professional experience in the event sector, ideally within a law firm or consulting environment, coupled with strong organizational skills, creativity, and proficiency in MS Office and German and English languages.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Event or Venue Management, or completed apprenticeship as an Event Management Specialist, or comparable qualification
Experience
- At least two years of professional experience in the event sector
- Experience ideally gained in a commercial law firm, consulting company, or comparable organization
- Professional experience in steering administrative and organizational event tasks
