Job Summary
This role involves planning, evaluating, and executing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures for national and international clients within the TÜV Rheinland Industry Service and Cybersecurity division. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing specialized NDT methods such as magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant inspection, visual inspection, radiographic testing, and ultrasonic testing on various materials. The technician is also responsible for meticulous written documentation of all test results and performing standardized material examinations. This is a highly field-based position requiring significant domestic travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or trade background in electrical engineering or metalwork, ideally as a materials tester, and holds NDT qualifications (DIN EN ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2) or basic welding technology knowledge. This position offers extensive professional training and development, supporting professionals ready to contribute to industrial digitalization and large infrastructure projects.
