Job Summary

This role seeks an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to revolutionize critical infrastructure by treating it as code. The core mission involves eliminating manual processes, migrating hundreds of servers from legacy systems (like Active Directory and VMware vSphere) to modern, automated, cloud-native solutions such as Entra ID and Azure Policy. The engineer will be responsible for developing modular, reusable Terraform and Ansible modules, implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and onboarding all on-prem services into Azure Arc for central governance and security. A key focus is achieving NIS2 compliance by ensuring all deployments are versioned, tested, and automatically auditable. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in IaC, GitOps, hybrid cloud management, and scripting (Python/PowerShell), with demonstrable experience in large-scale legacy system migration and technical evaluation of new virtualization alternatives (e.g., Nutanix, OpenShift). This position offers the opportunity to drastically reduce deployment times and implement a highly reliable, cloud-native infrastructure architecture.
