Job Summary

This role involves leading a team of security experts at enercity Netz GmbH, a subsidiary of enercity AG, focused on securing critical energy infrastructure in Hannover and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a multi-year technical cybersecurity roadmap in close collaboration with IT infrastructure teams (Server, Cloud, Network, Identity, Workplace). Day-to-day tasks include translating regulatory requirements (NIS2, ISO 27001/27002) into pragmatic, technical measures and overseeing the setup and operation of central security services like SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management. This position requires deep expertise in security architectures, critical infrastructure (KRITIS), and establishing technical security standards and policies, ensuring security is integrated from the start across all systems and levels. The role is highly impactful, protecting millions of people and offering a strong technical focus.
