Job Summary

The City of Freiburg is seeking a dedicated professional to drive the digital transformation of its Citizen Services department. In this crucial role, you will coordinate and implement IT projects aligned with the city's digitalization strategy, ensuring the conceptual planning and realization of key initiatives. A significant part of the job involves guaranteeing the smooth, reliable operation of specialized departmental applications, including system maintenance, cross-departmental authorization management, and hardware/software support. You will serve as the central interface, advising and supporting application users within Citizen Services and local administrative offices. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing decision-relevant data to support departmental leadership in strategic control measures, working closely with internal and external partners. This full-time, permanent position requires strong IT qualifications, excellent communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset to effectively manage technical operations and support staff.
