Job Summary

This is a highly responsible leadership position as a Facility Manager at an internationally active industrial company based in Winterthur. You will hold overall responsibility for the site's building, infrastructure, and asset management, ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all technical facilities. A key part of the role involves leading crucial internal services, including occupational safety, environmental compliance, reception, catering, and internal logistics. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in planning and executing infrastructure modernization projects, developing the long-term Facility Management strategy, and managing budgets and supplier relationships. Candidates must possess a university degree in Civil Engineering or Facility Management and bring 5-7 years of comparable leadership experience, coupled with strong technical knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. This role offers significant creative latitude in a modern, international environment, allowing you to actively shape processes and drive sustainability initiatives. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Facility Management.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a comparable leadership function
  • Professional experience ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep of technical facilities
  • Experience managing budgets, cost centers, and sustainable resource planning
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional service areas (Safety, Logistics, Catering)
