Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position within the City of Tornesch's Office for Digital Services focuses on critical IT administration and operational management. The specialist will be responsible for key administrative duties, including conducting legally compliant tender procedures for IT procurements, managing budgets and financial planning, and overseeing comprehensive contract management for software licensing, maintenance, mobile, and internet services. Day-to-day responsibilities involve hands-on technical support, specifically handling First and Second Level support tickets via the ticketing system, providing phone support, and delivering on-site assistance at the City Hall after initial training. Candidates must hold a completed vocational qualification, such as an Administrative Specialist or an IT System Management Specialist, or equivalent demonstrable experience in the IT field. Experience in IT support and hardware repair is highly desirable. This role offers the stability of public service employment (TVöD EG 9a), flexible work models, and extensive opportunities for further training.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellter), Specialist in IT System Management (Kaufmann/-frau für IT-System-Management), or a comparable qualification/degree.
