Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management of software licenses and IT assets for school-owned iPads within the Education and Culture department of the City of Tornesch. As a Contract and License Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of digital resources, from identifying cost-effective pedagogical software and procurement to distribution and user assignment across multiple management systems. You will act as a vital link between the administration and the school, providing on-site support two days a week to handle hardware distribution, damage claims, and loan agreements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of administrative documentation and hands-on technical support. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) specializing in local government, or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal administration or a comparable administrative field
- Experience in managing software licenses and IT hardware lifecycles
- Proven track record of structured and independent work within a team environment
- Experience in customer-oriented service or technical support roles

- Willingness to work occasional evening hours or outside standard hours when required; position is part-time at 30 hours per week; location-based support at schools is mandatory.
