Job Summary

This role involves securing and administering the critical IT infrastructure for the Ruhrverband, one of Germany's major water management companies. The administrator will be responsible for the secure operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft Windows Clients, Servers, and the network, with a specific focus on the M365 suite, Entra ID, and Active Directory. Key tasks include proactive system maintenance, configuring alarm and automation technologies, implementing Lifecycle, Patch/Update, and Change Management, and documenting security settings. Candidates need a degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, deep knowledge of Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS), IT baseline protection, risk management, and excellent conceptual abilities, ensuring the stability and security of essential services for millions of people.
