Job Summary

Join Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG, a market leader in private and occupational pension schemes, as a Data Scientist. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights, driving data-driven decisions, and developing innovative products and services within the 'Life Advanced Analytics' team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include translating business requirements into analytical processes, identifying relevant data sources, performing data analysis and preprocessing, and implementing and evaluating AI solutions and prototypes. You will also plan and coordinate Advanced Analytics/Data Science projects and present findings to various stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Advanced Analytics and Data Science within a leading insurance company, contributing to its digitalization journey.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other relevant subjects. Alternatively, a relevant completed dual study program (e.g., Business Informatics).

Experience

Practical experience in Data Science (e.g., internships, student activities)
Experience in deploying Data Science use cases into production
Experience with core insurance processes is an advantage (e.g., as a Business Analyst)
