Job Summary

This role involves leading the digital transformation within technical reinsurance accounting for a global insurance leader. The specialist will be crucial in migrating existing reporting systems (SAS) to a new Microsoft Power BI environment and upskilling colleagues in reporting techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently managing a specific technical accounting area, performing data analysis and processing, and preparing financial statements according to HGB, IFRS, and Solvency II standards. A core focus is process optimization, automation, and acting as the central point of contact for reporting queries. The ideal candidate combines a background in data analysis or programming (Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics) with 3+ years of relevant professional experience, strong SQL proficiency, and solid practical skills in Power BI.
