This role involves actively supporting expert inspectors in partial and final acceptance testing of control and safety technology (CST) systems within Europe's largest rail network, operated by a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn. Key responsibilities include assisting with practical work on complex railway systems, collaborating across technical disciplines, and ensuring the safety and quality of railway operations. The assistant will be responsible for creating detailed test reports and expert opinions, conducting quality checks on relevant documentation, and verifying that installed CST components comply with planning, authorization, and release specifications. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training in an electrical field (e.g., electrician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician) and possesses professional experience in CST maintenance or has trained as a points and signal mechanic.
