Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer serving as a Construction and Project Manager at DB InfraGO AG, you will oversee complex infrastructure repair projects within the Control and Safety Technology (LST) sector. Based in Hannover and covering the Northern Germany region, your daily responsibilities include managing the entire project lifecycle from planning to final acceptance. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, costs, and quality while leading a team of site managers, technicians, and skilled workers. A key part of your role involves solving technical engineering challenges related to interlocking systems, cable switching, and signaling measures. This position is unique for its critical impact on Europe's largest rail network, offering the opportunity to work with modern sensor and measurement technologies (e.g., DIANA, KONUX). It is an ideal role for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical coordination, team leadership, and on-site operational management within a highly stable and innovative environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the management and implementation of maintenance projects in the infrastructure sector
- Experience in Control and Safety Technology (LST) is highly desirable
- Experience in leading technical personnel including site managers, technicians, and manual workers
- Experience in coordinating schedules, costs, and quality for complex construction measures
- Experience working with railway-specific legal regulations and technical guidelines
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required; Willingness to travel for business and work on-site in Northern Germany (Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein), including night and weekend shifts; Medical fitness check required as part of the selection process.
