Job Summary
This role involves supporting cutting-edge research into hematological neoplasms within a creative, interdisciplinary environment at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) in Lübeck. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing biological samples using techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, and cell culture. Key duties include meticulous documentation of samples, results, and reagents using digital systems like Excel, maintaining and updating laboratory SOPs, and assisting with scientific texts and reports. This part-time position (20%) requires a recognized professional qualification in laboratory science or a relevant Bachelor's degree, combined with initial experience in molecular biology and excellent communication skills in English. It offers structured training and access to modern laboratory infrastructure, making it an excellent opportunity to contribute to vital medical research.
Required Skills
Education
Recognized professional qualification as a Biological Laboratory Technician, Medical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant, or a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biotechnology, or similar fields.

- Professional experience in practical laboratory work combined with documentation and digital communication
