Job Summary
This role seeks a quantitative expert to serve as a DFC Analyst, focusing on the development, calibration, and maintenance of Daily Forward Curves (DFC) for natural gas. Day-to-day responsibilities involve complex financial modeling, including conducting sensitivity analysis and stress tests related to market liquidity, weather events, and infrastructure failures across European gas hubs. The analyst will be crucial in valuing and pricing structured gas products, integrating physical and contractual flexibilities like storage and LNG slots into portfolio valuations. Key requirements include a Master's degree in a quantitative field, 3-5 years of relevant energy trading experience, and strong programming skills in Python and SQL to automate data pipelines and enhance simulation algorithms. This position offers significant scope for self-initiative and active process design within a collaborative, non-hierarchical team environment.

Education
Master's degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Business/Energy Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance)
Experience
- 3–5 years in Gas Forward Curve modeling, asset/portfolio valuation, pricing, or risk management in energy trading
- Experience in the valuation of storage and swing options
