Job Summary

This role involves acting as a key contributor in the Cloud Operation Hub, the central hub for modern cloud solutions supporting the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for the operational management and security of a full managed cloud stack, including associated microservices, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services. Day-to-day tasks include participating in steering committees for the cloud stack, closely interacting with Product Owners to advance cloud products, and coordinating with operational units to implement guidelines. A critical component is planning, establishing, and automating standard changes and security checks, and leading the operational response during critical incidents. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, deep knowledge of Kubernetes clusters, professional experience in agile environments, and fluent German and English skills.
