Job Summary
The City of Stuttgart is seeking an experienced IT Architect for their SAP Competence Center to drive the future SAP architecture strategy. This role is pivotal in deriving and generating the organization's SAP architecture from the overall IT strategy and project portfolio. A major focus will be leading the S/4HANA transformation, working actively in implementation projects, and integrating UI/Mobility technologies. The architect will also be responsible for creating and updating the SAP development plan, ensuring compliance, and assessing the feasibility of new solutions within the existing landscape. This position requires strong analytical thinking, consulting skills, and expertise in SAP architecture design, system integration, and IT security, providing a challenging opportunity to significantly improve the city's technical SAP landscape.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Master/Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical study program; or Bachelor's degree with several years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the advertised field of activity
- Experience in designing SAP architecture
- Experience in implementing compliance requirements and system integration via interface technologies
- In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA transformation, UI/Mobility technologies, IT integration, and IT security
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible for salary group A 13 hD (public service pay grade) or E 13 TVöD (collective agreement pay grade). Public servants (Beamte) of the higher information technology service (minimum A 12) may apply if they are willing and qualified to successfully complete the required advancement course.
