Job Summary

This role as an IT Systems Engineer, based in Stuttgart, is critical for ensuring the reliable operation and administration of city-wide deployed browsers within the Office for Digitalization, Organization, and IT. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the entire lifecycle of browser concepts and designs, providing 2nd-level support for browser issues, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of related IT services through design, testing, and operation. You will also translate technical requirements into software engineering solutions for the web environment and support internal Citizen Developers with web technology queries. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and possesses initial experience in complex problem analysis and web application realization. This is an unlimited contract position, offering a stable role supporting the digitalization efforts of the state capital.

Required Skills

Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field

Experience

  • Initial experience in problem analysis and concept creation
  • Professional experience working with complex, networked systems
  • Experience in the realization of web applications
