Job Summary

This role is for an IT Service Technician based in Ingolstadt, responsible for ensuring the digital capability of Germany's defense sector, specifically supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The technician will be the primary on-site representative, handling decentralized service delivery across 35 locations. Day-to-day tasks involve receiving and resolving IT/Telecommunications faults, documenting solutions in ticketing systems, and ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Key activities include performing IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose) activities, conducting hardware and software maintenance/updates at customer workstations, and participating in cyclical on-call duty. The ideal candidate must have a relevant IT qualification, professional experience in IT and telecommunications environments, expertise in operating systems, networking, and strong familiarity with ticketing and asset management systems.
