Job Summary
This is a full-time, permanent position as a Key User within the Student Secretariat at the University of Education Freiburg. The role is central to managing and developing the university's IT systems related to student administration, primarily focusing on the HISinOne campus management software (specifically APP and STU modules). Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the 1st Level Support and application expert for colleagues, documenting and implementing process requirements within the IT systems, and assisting with the digitalization of administrative workflows. Additionally, the role involves core administrative tasks such as handling admission, enrollment, re-registration procedures, and generating student statistics. The ideal candidate will have strong IT system configuration knowledge, process management skills, and a structured, service-oriented approach to teamwork.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for Management, Digitalization Management Specialist, Office Management Specialist) OR relevant university degree (e.g., Public Management, Digital Administrative Management, (Business) Informatics)
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system configuration or comparable qualification
- Experience with designing administrative and organizational workflows (desirable)
- Experience in the field of IT system configuration (required for certain educational backgrounds)
Languages
Additional
- Unrestricted work authorization in Germany; Position is full-time (100%) but fundamentally divisible.
