IT Facilities Technician | IT-Haustechniker (m/w/d), Köln (DCO)

Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role in Cologne involves taking responsibility for the maintenance, upkeep, and monitoring of the technical infrastructure within a high-performance data center. The IT Facilities Technician will regularly manage critical systems including energy and building technology, emergency power supplies, UPS systems, fire protection, cooling, and climate control. A key part of the role is supervising the Building Management System (BMS/GLT), coordinating necessary repairs, and implementing modernization measures. The successful candidate will use a ticketing system to track and resolve disturbances and tasks, and effectively organize and manage external contractors and service providers. This position requires strong technical understanding across various trades, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development, including participation in paid on-call duty.
