Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role is based in Cologne, focusing on maintaining and overseeing the critical technical infrastructure of a data center for plusserver, a leading German Cloud Provider. The technician is responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and monitoring of essential systems, including energy and building technology, emergency power supply, UPS systems, fire protection, cooling, and climate control. Day-to-day duties involve utilizing a ticketing system to manage incidents, monitoring the Building Management System (GLT), and coordinating external contractors for necessary repairs and modernization measures. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical qualification, strong hands-on skills, cross-disciplinary technical understanding, and experience with data center environments and monitoring systems.
