Job Summary

The Institute for Cell Biology at the University Medical Center Rostock is seeking a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technologist (MT), or equivalent professional to join their lab team. This full-time, permanent position focuses on supporting research in Regenerative Medicine, specifically the regeneration of connective tissue (bone, cartilage, soft tissue) concerning implants. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing and evaluating various laboratory analyses, such as cell biological, molecular biological, immunological, and biochemical investigations. The role also involves operating, maintaining, and documenting results from modern laboratory equipment, preparing samples, and providing general technical assistance and organization within the lab. The ideal candidate must have a successfully completed technical or scientific education (BTA, MTA, CTA, PTA) and possess good German and English skills, along with a meticulous and structured work ethic.
