Biology Laboratory Technician | Biologielaborant (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves supporting global pharmaceutical and crop protection research by executing critical greenhouse and laboratory experiments. The technician will be responsible for preparing and cleaning incoming seed samples, planning and conducting greenhouse trials focused on characterizing herbicide resistance, and applying plant protection agents and test substances using specialized application equipment. A key part of the job involves ensuring optimal plant growth conditions, visually evaluating the experimental results, and meticulously documenting findings within the IT system to generate comprehensive reports. Ideal candidates must hold a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., Biological Laboratory Technician or Chemical Laboratory Technician), possess practical laboratory experience, familiarity with automation and databases, and proven experience managing plants and conducting greenhouse experiments. Strong German and English language skills are essential for success in this international environment.
