Job Summary

This role involves specialized engineering work focused on the characterization and validation of high-frequency (RFICs, MMICs) and Mixed-Signal ASICs. The Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing complex measurement setups for analyzing micro- and millimeter-wave parameters, including coaxial and wafer probing. A key aspect of the job is the automation of characterization measurements, data acquisition, and analysis using tools like MATLAB or Python. The successful candidate will document results, derive recommendations for design and test development, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Test, Production) to ensure technological excellence and validate performance goals. This position is suitable for entry-level professionals with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and RF measurement technology, offering a unique opportunity within a global technology group.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, Microelectronics, or a comparable technical education with a focus on RF Technology

Experience

  • Professional experience in the characterization of semiconductor components (ASICs, MMICs, RF components)
  • Good knowledge of RF measurement technology, calibration, and de-embedding techniques
  • Experience with automation and data analysis (Python, MATLAB or similar)
