Job Summary

The Hochschule Ruhr West is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead the "Digitalization & Circular Economy" Transfer Hub, a key initiative supporting the Ruhr region's future by focusing on knowledge and technology transfer. This role involves the comprehensive coordination and operational management of a research project aimed at enabling SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in industry and trade to undergo sustainable digital transformation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project implementation, managing finances and resources (including budget control and fund requests), leading the project administration team, and acting as the central interface between various stakeholders, including funding bodies and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field, strong project management experience, and ideally, specialized knowledge in Digitalization or Circular Economy. This position is vital for making the university's knowledge accessible and practical for target groups through innovative transfer formats and public outreach.
