Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping and executing the IT security strategy for ITK Rheinland, a major IT service provider for municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Staff Officer will be responsible for advising the organization and its members on critical security matters, assessing risks, and making informed decisions on current security topics. Key responsibilities include ensuring the ongoing ISO 27001 certification through content reviews, developing comprehensive concepts, guidelines, and work instructions for IT security and emergency procedures, and organizing penetration tests and vulnerability analyses. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, helping to build, maintain, and advance the organization's Management Systems (ISMS, QMS) to ensure a secure digital future for approximately 15,000 users.
