Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated Research Associate to join a rapidly expanding team within the Anatomy department, contributing significantly to a cutting-edge research project focused on the biology of stem cells in the larval gut of the fruit fly, *Drosophila melanogaster*. Day-to-day responsibilities include the bioinformatic analysis of complex High Throughput Sequencing datasets, specifically Single nucleus RNAseq and DamID, alongside performing crucial genetic, cell biological, and imaging experiments using the *Drosophila* model organism. A key aspect of the role also involves instructing human and dental medicine students in microscopic anatomy during their preclinical studies. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Biology or a closely related field, demonstrate a strong interest in bioinformatic and microscopic methodologies, and be proficient in English.
