Job Summary
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Service Desk Agent in Darmstadt to join a long-established partner of German industry in the IT sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve providing essential 1st Level Support, primarily focusing on managing and resolving IT disruptions reported by staff, handling user accounts, access permissions, and necessary activations. A core function of the role is the meticulous documentation of all processes within a ticketing system and the qualification and escalation of complex inquiries to 2nd and 3rd Level Support teams. Candidates must possess a completed IT or IT commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications with strong IT background knowledge. Key requirements include fundamental knowledge of network technology, experience with asset management, and proven professional experience working within a Service Desk environment using ticketing systems. The position offers secure, full-time employment with predictable working hours and strong development opportunities within a supportive team environment, initially through temporary employment with the option for permanent takeover.
