Job Summary

This role involves participating in a critical IT project focused on developing and implementing a central platform for capturing, analyzing, and structuring real-world phishing incidents across Thuringian universities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the technical platform for data collection, automating the analysis and classification of security-relevant features, creating a dashboard for trend evaluation, and ensuring complete technical documentation for handover into regular operation. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, coupled with significant professional experience (minimum 3 years), or extensive experience (minimum 5 years) following vocational training as an IT Specialist. The position requires expertise in security architecture, threat intelligence interpretation, and project management fundamentals, offering an opportunity to contribute directly to the cybersecurity resilience of multiple higher education institutions.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field, or 3-year vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field following a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field
  • Alternatively, minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field following a 3-year vocational training as an IT Specialist
  • Experience with security architecture, system hardening, and secured interfaces (Desirable)
  • Experience in the architectural design of security-critical systems (Desirable)
  • Experience in the management of IT projects (Desirable)
