Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical or Electronics Technician looking to specialize in critical railway safety systems. The Train Control Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of European Train Control System (ETCS) safety installations. Key daily tasks include performing fault diagnostics, resolving issues, configuring and programming safety systems, and meticulously documenting all work performed. You will also monitor signaling and switching operations to ensure system integrity. Essential qualifications include a background in electrical engineering or a related field, knowledge of signaling and safety logic, and familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
