Job Summary

This role involves designing cutting-edge electromechanical PCB-based Power Distribution Unit (PDU) systems essential for modern commercial vehicles, off-highway machinery, and E-Mobility concepts. The Development Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe, intelligent, and efficient distribution of energy, focusing on reliability, sustainability, and innovation. Day-to-day tasks include drafting circuit diagrams using ECAD software, conceiving and creating component placements with tools like Altium Designer, and developing high-current PCB layouts. Collaboration with Project Engineering, Mechanical, and Production departments is key to developing new design solutions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, possesses experience with ECAD software (preferably Altium Designer), and has a keen interest in current techniques related to power supply, distribution, and thermal management.
