Job Summary
This senior leadership role involves managing and developing the Energy Technology department, overseeing four teams and approximately 60 employees across multiple locations. The core focus is shaping the energy transition by managing the grid integration of conventional and, especially, renewable energy feeders, including contracts, billing, receivables management, and certifications. The successful candidate will drive the digitalization of the IT landscape and processes, manage budgets and resources, and ensure regulatory compliance. This position requires strong leadership skills, expertise in energy or grid economics, and the ability to manage complex change processes while fostering a performance-oriented and appreciative team culture. The role reports directly to the Head of Grid Economics and involves significant stakeholder management with external partners, associations, and authorities, including participation at the E.ON Group level.
Required Skills
Education
Completed relevant university degree, preferably with a focus on Energy Economics or Renewable Energies
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in the energy or grid economics sector
- Experience in a comparable management function
- Professional experience managing large challenges and high project volumes
