Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on ensuring that large-scale gas metering stations comply with all calibration, legal, and safety regulations within the network operations of a major utility subsidiary. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing large gas metering systems, actively driving digitalization by converting metering points to future-proof IP-based communication technology, and analyzing and resolving complex system faults. Key responsibilities include coordinating system-wide measures to guarantee supply security, managing investments and maintenance budgets, and evaluating new technologies in the context of Smart Meter Gas development. This position requires an engineering degree in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering) and a proactive approach to process optimization and the implementation of new technologies, playing a crucial part in shaping the energy transition.
